Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Fridgeful ("we", "us") for your use of Fridgeful (the "Service"), available at https://www.fridgeful.me. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The Service

Fridgeful suggests meals and recipes based on ingredients you enter or photograph. Suggestions, recipes, nutrition estimates and images are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain mistakes.

2. Food safety, allergies and nutrition

You are responsible for what you cook and eat. Always check ingredients against your allergies and dietary needs, check that food is fresh and safe, and cook meat, fish and eggs thoroughly. Nutrition figures are estimates and are not medical or dietary advice.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old and give a valid email address. Keep your password secret; you are responsible for activity on your account. You may delete your account at any time from Account in the app.

4. Plans and payment

Fridgeful offers a free plan and paid subscriptions (Plus and Premium), billed monthly or yearly in advance. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Prices shown include applicable taxes where required.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Account in the app; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. If you change plans, the price difference is prorated.

6. Fair use

Plans include the allowances shown on the pricing page. "Unlimited" on Premium is subject to fair personal use; we may limit automated, shared or abusive use. Don't try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or resell the Service, and don't upload content you don't have rights to or that is illegal.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to process it only to provide the Service. Photos are processed to detect ingredients and are not stored.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Fridgeful running but can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we make a material change to a paid feature you rely on, we will tell you in advance. We may update these terms and will notify you of important changes by email or in the app.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using the Service at any time.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
